This was once a cafe-coffeeshop but as of 1st April 2007 coffeeshops can no longer sell alcohol. Stones have now split their operation between their two locations. Stones Café, just up the road, is now a smoker-friendly bar and this site acts as a coffeeshop.

It's a tiny shop with an Arabian theme. There are nice fretwork screens on the windows and pretty mosaics on the bar and tables. There are a few tiny stools and a comfy seating area in the corner by the window. Music was a bit MoR on our most recent visit.

I went to [Stones Café] last weekend. I was eating pancakes at their bar and decided I wanted a joint to build my appetite. So I walked 69 steps to their coffeeshop and asked the man if they sold pure joints. He had a big smile and said for me, he would build one. I watched him pluck 3 nice looking buds of Northern Lights and grind them up, building an enormous and beautiful pure joint. Only 6 euros, which I think is a good price for the area. It got me so ripped. I love these guys and will return for sure.

Took the bush doctor's recommendation and tracked down some Hash Heaven Haze here. Very nice hazy stuff. Great smell and flavor - a bit salty and mustardy perhaps. Heady, but also straps you in tight for a while - cool stuff and comfortable place to hang out after the craziness of the Red Lights.

First purchase in here was Northern Lights 4.2g for 30eu which was an ideal way to start my first afternoon as I sat back and proceeded to get mashed. Bud/bartender was a blonde lady who was a bit rushed off her feet but still took the time to explain strains and strengths to all who asked her. As this trip was after 1st April there was no longer alcohol available in this shop but it was still packed with people looking for a glass of suds with their buds and the bud/bartender apologised to all looking for a beer and directed them to Stone's Cafe/bar further down the street. Nice place to stop off and buy some weed but not to stay in as it is far too small and gets very crowded. Rating 6/10 (only drawback is the size of the shop)

This was the first place we visited on our trip to Amsterdam. We each ordered ourselves 2 White Widow pre-rolled joints and a few drinks. (The White Widow is 5euros per pre-rolled in this place), I also had a space brownie, which might I add was very nice. We sat there for a while and then headed back to our hotel room due to the strength of the weed. We were more stoned than we had ever been in England (and we smoke a lot in England). The service wasn't great, it was small and there wasn't much seating, but the quality of the weed was good. (Stone's cafe further down the road was great, pool table, English football, great service, but slightly pricey drinks.) I would recommend stopping in to this place, but not a place I would spend a long time in.

Can't comment on the bar side of things, I just nipped in on the way back to the hotel and tried the new Heaven Haze. Very good stuff, and very glad we smoked it in the comfort of our room as I don't think the 200yards to the hotel would have been an easy stagger! Decent price, dealer seemed a decent guy. Over all its not my style of cafe, pool table, sports screen don't do it for me, but each to their own.

Nice people (even gave me a free lighter as I fumbled hopelessly through my pockets), very laid-back place. The Orange Bud was a complete mind-blower so the sofas and gentle music were much appreciated as was the restorative draught beer.

White Widow was our first good stone in A'dam this time, after a space cake real nice. The prices are what we expected (I usually take tours around this site). We took a joint of Bubblegum (6€) expensive but good also.

This small cafe was like an oasis in a desert. Intimate and laid back like my living room, Richard provided not only lively conversation but fabulous bud. We're sending our kids!

This was a nice little place. Good choice of beers & ciders as well as on the menu. Music was good here too and not too loud! Quality of the weed was excellent! Great place to chill out at.

Just came in here for a beer and a smoke. Nice & chilled place, close to the RLD, recommend it if you want to chill and watch the world go by. Not very big though, so larger groups be warned.

Minimum buy of 12 euros isn't cool, but the White Widow was pretty damn good. I'm indifferent to this place. I mean, it's so accessible, and centrally located, but why not walk to Coffeeshop 36 or Sheeba instead?

First stop Stones Corner. What a place to ease in to and smoke the best Orange Bud ever! Gooood stuff.
