A small coffeeshop quite far away from the Haarlem city center clearly aimed for the locals. The shop looks both outside and inside very shady and clearly trusts that the customers will have enough fun just being stoned. Only the pre-rolled menu is visible (only in Dutch of course) and weed/hash menu is usually travelling somewhere on the floor or behind the counter. Even when you find it, it can be hard to read as new strains and prices have been tacked on with tape and a magic marker. Some of the cashiers do not speak good English and get visibly distressed if they have to attempt and explain something. However, what Liberty lacks in class, style and comfort it makes up with the quality of its weed. Even though Liberty carries the same couple of strains all the coffeeshops in Haarlem carry (White Widow, Amnesia, etc), they have always been high quality smokes and the cashiers always try to put minimal amount of sticks and you get just the buds. Not a beginner friendly place for non-Dutch speakers but perfect for the old in-and-out-trick.
