Petrol Haze was a good choice. Nice hash joint as well. Friendly staff and patrons. Roomy /clean. Local scene. One of the few non-Amsterdam places with outside tables. I been here last years and had good time, the weather was nice and the shop was next to my hotel. I got 2 gr. of Santa Maria, not bad. Dim from Greece. Sent 25 Aug 2008.I was in Harlingen about 2 weeks in the April/May 2008. The Hofnar is a friendly coffeeshop with weed prices from 5€/g to 12€/g. In the 5€ weed (it was Thai-weed) was some seeds but the highness was okay. Better is it to buy the Jack Herrer for 7 or 8€ or some cookies for 3€. Finally- it's a good shop with pool table and internet station in a nice small town, recommended. I find this shop not good. Epsilon from USA. Sent 1 Jul 2007.The only shop in town, but luckily a nice one. Limited menu, but good quality. We sampled it all during a 3 day visit in June 07. Well, all but the cheap Thai. But one gets what one pays for. The Zero Zero Hash perhaps being the top. Maybe the hottest staff in the Netherlands. Locals hanging out playing cards, pool, fussball, using computers. Nice vibe. A small partition keeps the buy and go folks out of the shop proper and there's a few outdoor tables for you to sit and toke at. This shop is easily seen but one must be careful as the bridges over the canal can make it tricky. Music depends on which staff member is running the computer, but did hear White Rabbit during one visit. Ganjabus450 from Germany. Sent 21 Jul 2005.A very good c-shop. The shop is central in Harlingen. They have a very good weed. I was in the summer of 2004 in the shop and the atmosphere and location is very good: Table-soccer, video-games, family games, good and chilled people. The hash is not sooo bomber but a good mittleclass. The strains: Snow White, Power Plant, Calif. Orange Bud, Grizzly, Skywalker, Thai, Afghan, Silver Haze and a lot of hash. Maybe I can't remember of any strains. The list of weed was sooo long. And the prices are really good. 10€ for 3,3gr. Thai. It was the best shop that I've seen. Epsilon from USA. Sent 26 Jan 2004.Quite roomy, with pooltable, internet computer (free use to customers), videogame machines. Nice place, weed wasn't as strong as other shops, local clientele, friendly enough, best dart players I've ever seen. It's located about a block from the end of the pedestrian shopping street. However, due to the way the bridges over the canals are placed, a bit farther of a walk to get to. Careful crossing that narrow bridge. It is the only coffeeshop we found in Harlingen.
