I went by "High Time" the end of June '09 and it was still closed, looked as if being totally remodelled. There was no sign indicating anything, but definitely being re-done. Closed. No date for re-opening, just closed door and lot of work inside. No cool, it was my favourite coffee shop for the hash, the Super Cristal Marocco will be missing me :( The bloke behind the counter here was very polite and helpful. Here I bought one of the best and strongest pre-rolled spliffs out of anywhere and unlike other coffee shops where I had bought spliffs pre-rolled it was not in a packet or plastic tube and looked as though the bloke had rolled it himself by hand. Not sure what weed it was but it wasn't too expensive and it got me wasted. The only downfall I would say with this place is once you have tackled the very steep and very narrow staircase (something which I did not find easy being stoned already) to the seating area upstairs there is not much to look at with plain wooden floor, bare walls and uncomfortable seating. However I would definitely visit again as overall there was a great atmosphere here and a great view from the upstairs seating area! Just as the place is called the strand "High Time" was for sale so of course that's the ticket. It was moderate looking crystallized buds, common I was hoping for a little better due to the name and price. Light skunky smell, and a bland taste, the smooth smoke saved it along with the place itself being decent to relax. Overall I was looking forward to something a little better but it put me in a good state of mind to do that so it was kind of like the "assist" of a good time (relating to sports). Every time I go to the Dam I always stop off here for some of their excellent Masterkush grass. I don't hang around though as the seats are uncomfortable. A very relaxing shop with its 30-something-inch television mounted on the back wall and wide selection of weed and hash to try. Also something else this place has to offer unlike most is the fact they have Heineken on tap, but do not and I mean DO NOT mix the two quite as heavily as I did, I won't go into anymore detail but I recommend you stick with one or the other or just take your time.
