Brudjävel from Sweden. Sent 14 Feb 2009.The shop is not as I got to know a year ago. Half of the space of the shop is gone and it is now a small and crowdy shop. Before it was the only relaxed coffeeshop in Utrecht where you could sit down, read a book, have a joint by herself. Now it's just too crowdy, loud and full of men. Owners are new. Bigger and better weed- and haschish selection. I tried out their Blueberry and I felt retarded still, when going to bed 4 or 5 hours later. I really recommend their weed. Awesome place if you're there with more people than yourself. My opinion is they should have left the space so more people could sit.  Nick-r from Netherlands. Sent 19 Aug 2008.I'm from Utrecht and El Toro is a very nice place to chill out. They have a nice lounge, tables with bank around it. With nice airbrush on the walls, it's kind of a dark coffeeshop, but nice relaxed music. The bartender is friendly and the prices are not high if you want something to drink. The weed is not that good, ok, I get stoned from it, but there are much better shops if you want weed. But this is shop to chill out. Not great decor, but serves its purpose very well. Small but potent selection, and certainly alot cheaper than Amsterdam. Ordered 3 glasses of coke, which were poured from the bottle (old school).
