Must 'av bin 2 Comic 6 or 7 times, I think it's a great place. An old friend showed it 2 me. We got so carried away we missed the ferry and 'ad 2 find a bed 4 the night in the Hook. Stayed in the Comic till 'bout 1 then went 2 bed. Got ferry at 7 in morn. "twats" always got top hash there cos I'm English I loved my hash when we used 2 get all that nice stuff. Now the buds took over I miss the solid canned, know what I mean? So when I get there it's Super Polm or the Scuff is well nice. Smell just takes u back. Don't get me wrong I love my weed but reckon us English grow the finest 'erb fact "sorry cloggies" nah great country bin about there abit. Get 2 the Hook and 'av it cool breeze :)

Only sampled their polms though, good quality for half the price of A’dam gear. I purchased Super Polm for a daytime smoke, for night I bought the Nepalese, you can rely on the dark ones to put you to sleep, a good shop selling cheap weed.

'Comic' is right in the middle of Hoek town, one long main road, shops either side and you'll see she sits just near the Chevy Bar, which used to be the place to buy pot in Hoek. This place is idea to go to when u killing time, is warm, friendly, quiet and has a decent selection at very good prices. Do try not to just get off the boat and straight onto the train, Hoek even has a sandy beach to wly away those spliffs. The coffeeshop has a pool table too and a selection of board games you can just get out and play with. Food is good and everything about this place says clean, tidy and very local. I've been to Holland about 8 times and everytime I go I always get off the boat and straight to the 'Comic', and frequent the place upon my departure, was kinda gutted that the Chevy Bar closed but the 'Comic' has retained a more relaxed approached.

Called at this shop on the way back from Amsterdam last year. Cheap compared to the big city. Good weed, lots of space, friendly woman at the bar. Spent a good few hours there. I think we had something to eat but don't know what. Worth a look before going home if you catch my drift.
