This was a great shop from its early days as the "Milk Bar" to when it was closed. It was a chess player's coffeeshop with chessboards and clocks available. The staff were always friendly and cheerful and they served big cups of coffee. The music was laid back and sometimes included some good reggae. There were some nice murals to look at.

Flixibel from Netherlands. Sent 1 Mar 2007.
Chai is closed permanently, there were too many young people caught there by the police, sadly, indeed.

Nice, relaxing shop in a quiet neighborhood. Far Eastern decor and music. The woman behind the counter was very sweet and talkative. Bought a gram of Kali Mist, I forget the price but the smoke was great.
