 Cloud Striffe from France. Sent 12 Jul 2008.Now that's not the best coffeeshop if you want to buy just a gram, and chill out for a moment. I was there 5 minutes after opening (11am), and there was already a small queue (fastest queue I've ever seen tho), and it seemed that the less time you took the best it was for them (which can be appreciated as much as it can be annoying, to noobs especially). The average time spent serving each customers (for the 10 in front of me) was only about 15 to 20 seconds (!) Being the first time in that coffeeshop (and not speaking Dutch), I was a bit stressed by that (I hate to be annoying to the staff). But it's cool, the menu is clear (especially if you plan to buy 5 grams of one kind of kif). I got Misty (weed) which was quite cheap (40€ for 5g) and magnificent. Very fruity and very tasty. Bags are already made (at least if you buy 5g of one kind), and are correctly weighted (mine was actually 5,1g). Plus my bags had no leafy matter whatsoever, only good material. Rich from England. I heard that the government supply their weed, which I don't know whether it's true, and if it is, whether it is a good thing! Anyway, didn't stay here for long, as we were just stopping in to buy some Misty (2 gram - 22euro). Great smoke, and my mate picks some Misty up fairly regularly, so it must be fairly consistent. The only problem I saw here was a customer complained about the weed they just got sold. From what I hear is if you don't speak Dutch, or are known by the staff, they may sell you more leafy gear. I wasn't too bothered by it because I had a few nice nuggets - no leaves. Rating: 7/10. Anon. from Belgium. Sent 7 Nov 2007.I have been to the Baron in Breda yesterday and I haven't been there anymore for a while but however I have taken my smoke from there in great trust for a few years now. And since yesterday I have decided it's very sad over there now because I know it supposed to be a government weed take out. And I only get leaves for my money normally this doesn't happen but it happened yesterday, and that's for my the first time, in most cases I cheek my stuff out first but this single time I didn't maybe I am a idiot as I feel such, but my friends seems to be ripped off too for a few times before so I don't think getting over there again. With so many good reviews me and my mate decided to spend a pleasant Saturday here. The coffeeshop was full of way too many unfriendly people who looked like they all came from a half-way house. But what really drove us to hate this place was the music. Jive-bunny anyone? And loud, really loud. It ruined our whole day. Good weed, good price, large choice of weed/hash and a nice atmosphere and free papers /tips if you buy 15€ and more (you gotta ask for them) Go there if you want to buy good weed. Haze de Baron is good as long as they don't start selling non-resin bud to non-speaking Dutch people. Beware. Yoeri from Breda. Sent 13 Mar 2004.For people who visit Breda, I strongly recommend this shop. The quality is very good. De Baron gets its weed from the government so that's a good sign for good weed.
