Description

Back in the 1990s this was the Abraxas Night Bar. It was owned by the coffeeshop around the corner. It was always a bar rather than a coffeeshop but it was a great place to have a beer and a smoke after the coffeeshops closed. When Abraxas expanded they sold this place and it became Absinthe.

The new owner tells me that they sell real homemade absinthe and that weed smoking is allowed. It's also open late.

The Abraxas nightbar is now a strange non-weedsmoking bar called Absinthe. I asked if I could light up in there and got a rude NO from the bartender (hehe they've probably had a lot of people walk in and start smoking).
